Welcome 2 the Jungle is a community-focused pop up plant shop, event producer and hospitality consultancy business.

With more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Lloyd “Flow” Johnson seek to create new, intentional modes of hospitality that reintegrate community well-being and service. W2TJ is an overdue response to the toxic inequities, power imbalances, and apathy in the hospitality industry. By uplifting, amplifying, and connecting with other creatives, hustlers, small businesses and hospitality professionals, Flow hopes to use his experience to rekindle the radical connection between hospitality spaces and community. Soon, they hope to open a space of their own to host a plant shop, design studio, event space and co-operative cafe.

Welcome 2 the Jungle continues to evolve with every event and connection made. With collective investment, Flow hopes to continue building these connections and opportunities for the incredibly talented people that comprise our community.

Over the past 3 years, W2TJ has hosted a small private dinner every month that features independent chefs, bartenders and pastry professionals curating their own menu for an intimate community meal. Welcome 2 the Jungle has also hosted 20 maker markets, plus two very successful Industry Night Markets (with more on the way!). This past Labor Day, they celebrated Labor Rights with a large fundraising event and day long party with the CHAAD Project, raising $800+ for the project and giving space for 20+ makers, creatives, and small businesses to choose their labor on such a historic day.

Lloyd “Flow” Johnson is a 34 year old designer, curator, and overall Plant Daddy. He takes his experience in hospitality and passion for community service to curate events, parties, markets and more that seek to uplift and amplify local hustlers, makers, creatives and small business owners. The wake of the pandemic has deeply affected public art spaces and hospitality, and so Welcome 2 the Jungle is the culmination of years of hard work and a fierce reimagining of what our future can be when we work collectively to rebuild it.
